Viborg Regional Hospital

The Regional Hospital in Viborg is a complex building where wayfinding and decoration are primarily intended to create clarity and calm. I have developed a graphic manual, with a visual theme for each floor, inspired by the surrounding nature. Mega graphics, colors and motifs act as landmarks and make it easy to find your way around. Waiting areas are decorated with pictures and texts about local flora and fauna, which create a pleasant atmosphere. In the intensive care unit, calming nature motifs contribute to security for patients and relatives. A functional and beautiful solution that has been created in close collaboration with staff and architects.
