I was tasked with solving two challenges at the Department of Computer Science: Noise in common areas and an uninspiring study environment. I successfully achieved both in close collaboration with the heads of departments and architects, who shared my ambitions. The solution is based on a color palette with calm green shades from nature, which creates balance with the university's blue. The decoration draws threads to the world of mathematics with patterns, quotes and portraits of famous mathematicians, integrated into wallpapers, sound absorbers and glass foils. The decoration dampens noise and at the same time arouses academic curiosity in the students.
